Bambini Photography is me, Kim Hilliard with my camera ready to snap away! Yes, I'm a mom... with a camera...but that's not all! lol I have a degree in Graphic Design and have been designing and taking photos for 12 years.
Growing up, photographs were always an important part of my life. Through the years my mom always avidly documented me and my siblings' lives, but it wasn’t until I was a teenager that I found out why she was soo crazy about pictures. When she was only one year old, her mother got sick and passed away. Sometime after that, her family was traveling back to Korea from Japan and the boat carrying their personal items flooded. All their family photos were destroyed! Ahhh!!!! It was devastating to her, she had no photos to remember her mother by. So till this day photos are a very sentimental thing in our family. :) We love them, cherish them, and take a lot of them! A lot of them! Lol!
I love meeting new people and being able to be the one that helps them to capture moments, whatever time in their lives, with beauty and ease. My style is simple, in the moment, not over thought, and personal. There are soo many things that we forget, but pictures help to preserve those memories so that they stay fresh in our minds. I enjoy that feeling you get when looking back at pictures of you and your loved ones and saying “oh I remember that!” It makes you smile uncontrollably, and I love that!!!
